Meet the Faculty

Jenn-Hui Tan

is Global Head of Stewardship and Sustainable Investing for Fidelity International. Jenn is responsible for providing external and internal leadership for Fidelity's sustainable investing activities, including the strategy and policies on engagement, voting and ESG integration.

Jessica Reed

is a partner at Farrer & Co, an experienced financial services and funds lawyer who advises a wide range of clients including asset managers, wealth managers, private banks, international financial institutions and charitable institutions on the full spectrum of regulatory issues.

Julia Dreblow

Having spent over 25 years helping intermediaries understand sustainable and responsible investment (SRI) Julia is considered one of leading authorities in Sustainable Finance in the UK.

Since 2010 Julia has run her own business, SRI Services where the focus is the free to use (fund manager supported) ‘Fund EcoMarket’ fund database tool.

This tool enables intermediaries to research fund ESG strategies and match them to client preferences. She also recently re-joined the board of not-for-profit industry association UKSIF.

Jean-Maurice Ladure

is Executive Director and Head of Equity Applied Research, EMEA with responsibility for research to support new and existing indexes and risk models, including factor, ESG, climate change, thematic and economic exposure indexes, as well as performance and risk attribution.

He also serves as an ambassador to asset owners and managers on the role of indexes and factor models in asset allocation and portfolio construction.

Larry Lawrence

is executive director, head of ESG products for the private wealth market at MSCI ESG Research. He is responsible for the business strategy across marketing, sales, and product development.

Larry also oversees product management of MSCI’s ESG Fund ratings, ESG reporting, and ESG client-facing platforms, used by institutional investors and private wealth managers.

Rumi Mahmood

is a Senior Associate in ESG Research, focusing on funds. Previously, he was the Head of ETF Research at Nutmeg where he was a member of the investment team and oversaw fund selection and led ESG integration efforts.

He also worked at BNY Mellon in fund structuring and at UNICEF researching the impact of clean water infrastructure on social mobility in developing economies.

Prior to joining finance, he was a petroleum engineer at Shell focusing on carbon capture and storage projects in the North Sea.

Steve Kowal

is an Executive Director, Index Products for the EMEA Region at MSCI. Steve joined MSCI in 2014 and manages the P&L of the index data subscription business.

He also is responsible for MSCI’s value proposition for the private wealth channel that includes financial advisers, wealth managers, private banks and related service providers.
